Was really looking forward to going back here after decades but very disappointed and wont be returning for many of the reasons outlined by other visitors. The saving grace was Twickenham ale on as guest but the price Wow!

Went there on a sunny afternoon, late lunch time. Not impressed. Had a glass of overpriced Addlestones served in plastic container, with nasty sharp edge - very unpleasant to drink from. Only bitter was various forms of Youngs.

They were not busy but tables not cleared of dirty plates etc. Surly bar staff.

It is a pleasant location by the river, but you can hardly see the river from the small terrace due the fence.

Went in about 8pm on a Saturday night and half of the beer tabs were covered over. What sort of pub has not got enough beer to cover a Saturday night. The place is also very expensive. Nearly five quid for a pint. This is Kingston folks, not the centre of London. One of my companions was charge nearly ten quid for a glass of wine. Avoid this pub, it is dire.

Went in here two days ago for the first time in years... I thought the place had improved immensely. I have to say the bar man was a bit dippy - pleasant and attentive but a bit dippy. It wouldn't have surprised me if the lad behind the bar was on work experience.

Would definitely go back.

Not the cheapest place and didn't eat, so can't comment on the food. However, the beer (Young's) was well kept, the staff helpful and friendly and the atmosphere and decor okay too.
Better Saturday evening place for drinking than some of the other places in the area.
