The Six Bells Brewery closed in 2018 so the beers on sale last Friday evening were two from Ludlow Brewing Co. (Blonde and Gold), Three Tuns Best and Marston's/Ringwood Wainwright. I thought the Best was the pick of the town's offerings. Very busy in the public bar but we sat at the last of the tables in the quieter dining room/lounge where you can also just drink without having to buy a meal.

Good as ever, if not better. New landlady is such great fun - was always smiling or laughing when I was there at the weekend. Pub is such a friendly place - real gem. The Spikey Blonde ale was in very good condition too.

Nev's beers are always on top form. Have been in here quite a few times over the years and I have never been disappointed. Nev himself is a great host and landlord. We couldn't get in the main bar this time round and so went and sat in the other bar which is a bit lacking in character in comparison. Still, if that's the only complaint, then he must be doing everything else right.

Had heard a lot about this place but, although there was nothing wrong with it, we found it a little short on atmosphere. We were the only ones in apart from a cluster of locals around the bar so maybe we chose the wrong night. Pint of Cloud Nine was ok.

An all-too-rare example of what a decent boozer should be. Conversation is the main entertainment here followed by old-fashioned board games. Lovely attitude to kids and the beer is, well, heavenly. Top spot.
