Such a nice feel to this place, I really loved the pub. The staff were so great, really friendly young women seem to have a good hold on what's going on. Have a range of good real ale on tap and did a really good pint of Guinness. Will definitely be back here next time I'm in Lower Heyford!

Have been here at least 3-4 times in the last couple of months and will keep returning!

The food might not be 5-star but it's very good. The staff is super helpful and friendly, they happily served us at 5 minutes to kitchen-close, something I find most pubs won't do (and lose my business, when the signage shows there is time left!). But here they are really making an effort and know how to treat customers.

We've also had several beers on tap as they change frequently enough to get a real choice. So far, all excellent!

Will return to The Bell often, now it's nearby, and will heartily recommend to friends.

Had a really good meal here at realistic prices. The beer was not as good as I would expect but maybe I was at the tail end of the barrels. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and go in again soon!

Village pub close to the Railway Station (5 mins) and the canal. Late on a Friday it is all locals and it gets a fair crowd of them. There are 3 Real Ales on, last night it was White Horse Dragon Hill, Purity UBU and a rebadged for the pub beer which I reckon was White Horse Bitter. There was a good conversational buzz in there, a couple of boaties probably and a few lads readying themselves for the World Cup, in fact the pub is gearing itself up to show all the football, much to the chagrin of some saddo Jock who seemed to be supporting anyone but the place that is currently supporting him. All in all a decent village local, something that should be preserved.
