| Basic pub with welcoming landlady. OK pint of Black Sheep. Obviously do more ales on tap but two pump clips turned round on my visit. Food served all day and menu looked great. Had a roast beef and onion bagette which more than made up for the poor selection of ales on the day. Pub needs a little bit (not too much!) of a redec and replacement of some of the worn out furniture. Comment about locals being "menacing" quite ridiculous - kept themselves to themselves and discussed upcoming betting on football. Idea that regulars always have to greet casual visitors to their pub as long lost friends is absurd. Sometimes you need to make the effort!
