great pub, good atmosphere. popular with the younger mob, has 2 pool tables and entertainment every weekend.

This pub is great. I remember one last home game of the season where I was absolutley wasted and was up on the stage doing kareoke with hardly any clothes on singing West Ham songs, and generally being a pain in the 'arris I wasn't barred. Now that is quality!

Still people love knocking this pub its not really a trouble maker based pub theres a few nasty fellas who drink in there but thats only if you come looking for some aggro. Some brilliant chracters aswell like Harpo big family friend and makes the day that much better if hes about absolute legend! If you are an away fan looking for some aggro I would suggest the Village Hardcore Westham pub where all the ' old boys' drink but beware alot of the fellas are well over the 18 stone mark and I wouldn't reccomend a ruck with them. Still great atmosphere and the owner always puts on a sweet spread for the lads.

Presumably named after Lord Stanley of attack knives.
