This is a message for the jealous nob hiding behind the screen name of "secretboozer" who slated the Army & Navy Pub in Plaistow. This pub is not only the best in East London, its the cleanest and friendliest pub I have ever had the pleasure of drinking in. It is run by a group of fantastic people who make you feel welcome and the pub has a lovely atmosphere. They give away free food on Sundays and their beer is the best I have drunk. This person called secretboozer is now being tracked down and will be reported to the Internet Police for making slanderous statements about the A&N. Furthermore I understand the owners are going to take legal action for the slanderous remarks on this site. Joe.

This pub is split into 2 bars on my first visit i used the the bigger saloon bar which seemed very clean there was a small stage and a roll up big screen and in 1 corner a tv set which seemed to be own by a small grey headed drunk who doubled as a bookmaker. As with most pub i the area there was the usual mix of those who decided to pop in on the way home and got captured ,charlie heads, and wide boys who looked at me as an outsider 2 pints and left. I returned the next week but this time used the public bar were i was made very welcome but the fellows enjoying a pint and a chat the only down side was the sing (awful as he was told at one point ) .
If you do venture in say hi to the public bar boys great bunch
