Love it. A pub that's kept it's style and continues to do well. I used to live next door and the reviewers are talking about the smae kind of pub that it was thirty years ago. Whenever I go back it feels like home. Decent beer. A friendly smile and a perpetual feeling of lazy Sunday afternoons. Excellent corner pub. Doggo - 24 May 2012 18:14
A welcoming pub, great staff, diverse punters, little or no trouble, managed to keep drugs on the down low so as not to cause any ag in the pub, good garden area for the middle of concrete city, good old fashioned friendly place, safe for females that fancy a drink by themselves xx chelseabird - 12 May 2012 15:12
only used this place for a solitary drink in the afternoon when I have a day off work on a weekday,a real wee oasis, seems miles away from it"s actual location, has the feel of a back street pub thou it"s located on the main Parkhurst Road just a few minutes away from Holloway Prison.A couple of tv"s,a decent juke box(like to blast out Dylans, Like a Rolling Stone)every now and then and also a decent pool table. countyjim - 20 Apr 2011 15:35
It is really a gem of a pub inside, friendly crowd to watch a match in and good table for pool. It's a proper Islington pub! caledonianpark - 13 Apr 2010 12:58
Perfect for celebrating our eldest daughter's release from Holloway prison! After 2 years banged up, she certainly wasn't going to complain about the pint or anything. Mike_Oxhard - 11 Nov 2009 14:01
