| There is a public bar with limited seating, so if you are not dining you can still watch all the goings on and join in the singing! | I went here last night. I asked if I could just have a drink and was told no. I decided to have a meal and certainly no complaints about the food especially with both Austrian and Hungarian dishes, however as I was about to leave I noticed quite a few people at the bar just drinking and there were a couple of tables by the side which seemed to also for drinkers only. | Group dining at Tiroler Hut is always a great night out. It's the kind of restaurant where the usual city and fashionista W11 types occasionally go to let their hair down. I saw a write up where a notable critic declared that "the Tiroler Hut menu has shortened my life by at least five years", and I must admit I have to agree. Nevertheless I've been there four times in the three and a half years that I have lived in Notting Hill, and it has always been an extremely entertaining, if not elegant, night out. hmm - 9 Jun 2005 17:31 |
