Whilst out on two walks that brought us here recently, we popped in for a couple of beers and sat out the front enjoying the first of the years warm weather. Very friendly service by the young lady behind the bar and beers were in very good condition. Prices not as high as in Southwold town itself, which seems to be the norm, where prices seem to get cheaper the further you are from the brewery. Hence the reason it's £2.90 a pint for Southwold Bitter in my local 100 miles away and not the £3.70 it was here.

Fantastic pub. Far more deserving than a 6.6. 300+ years old. Chairs seem to be made of old Adnam's barrels as they have various ales stamped on them. Wooden beams everywhere and a multitude of old photos and nautical nick-nacks to look at. Staff pleasant too and if you like fish, the fish selection on the menu is huge

Still the best Adnams pub in Southwold, a 15 min walk from the town centre. Its interior although extended retains its multi roomed, multi leveled charm. Good beer and food served, the level marker halfway up the wall at the front indicates the 1953 flood hieght.

Love visiting the harbour inn. great in the summer with all the seating both in the garden and out front looking at the river and boats. portion of chips was nice and big, and the adnams beer was great (as expected). plus, the nice 10 minute walk from southwold certanly builds the appetite for a pint on arrival.

Love this pub, brilliant in all seasons though best in Summer either out front or in the back garden looking over the marshes to the sea. Great beers on tap and the fish and chips - although pricey - is absolutely awesome, my favourite place for lunch in Southwold - also not always as packed as the pubs in the main town centre as it's a bit out of the way. Great walk back up the Blyth past the fish-shacks as well.
