| Visited last night and found that the Hobson's had been replaced with Hook Norton's Cotswold Lion which seemed rather watery at first but was in decent enough condition. | Nice enough, but not outstanding. Bar area is good and comfortable, 3 ales (Hooky, Tribute and Purity Gold) all very well kept. Food is ok, basically pub grub, steak etc. We did stay for the night, but could only stay for one night as our room (room 7) was above the kitchen and so unbearbly hot we couldn't sleep. The rooms and dining area are a new bit of the bulding and seem to have paper thin uninsulated walls! reynedd - 17 Aug 2009 23:55 |

| Great ale and a brilliant atmosphere but they lost out on a food sale due to their inept staff. On our arrival we tried to order but were told there was an hour wait for a table in the restaurant area and food could not be consumed in the bar area.
