Decent two roomed pub selling 5 beers, 2 local plus guests, including Enville, Salopian and Holden's.

Re-opened about 18 months ago, now a proper real ale pub. Guest beers well kept, well priced and changed regularly. Usually 6 guest ales on plus ciders. Enville Ale and Holden's Golden Glow are the regular beers with guests from Osset, Abbeydale, Salopian and Oakham, amongst many others. Also just installed BT sport in the bar. Cobs and pub food available.

Great pub with great staff, definitely worth a visit.

What can I say- what a fantastic little boozer! I always maintain that the atmosphere of a pub is dictated by the publican and this is a classic example. Maggie and Eladio add their own quirkyness and immense duty of hospitality (a little like Sybil faulty and Manuel at times!) to fantastic beers and a homely but stunning interior. On one of the walls hangs a fantastic mosaic by a local artist which is marvellous. The clientelle seemlessly fuses the more senior drinkers with a younger crowd which is encouraging to see. A true delight, sure to become one of my regulars.
