This is one of my fav places in the world, esp. on a Saturday- the indie night (smile) is outstanding. boddington's or double and whiskey/coke are highly recommended. great staff, excellent djs (if you like indie, make sure you check out smile with andy woods) indiesociety - 11 Oct 2010 08:51
Sadly, Smile has also declined in quality. Beer not very good, but there is a pool table. oftenscore6 - 7 May 2010 23:06
I can see how this place could be quite good, but in my experience, it ain't. The Belle & Sebastian disco has declined in quality significantly (they've started playing chart tripe like OK GO and The Libertines). Downstairs is poorly lit, has little or no music and is cold. The beer is poor and I want to huddle up in my coat and go to sleep whenever I'm there. Poor pub, poor club - pity, it could be so much more. patrickjsm - 24 Nov 2006 00:09
Great meaty sandwiches. bigbeerbelly - 7 Oct 2006 19:00
Home to the Smiths and Morrissey disco which it now runs on the first friday of every month. Part of music history and the best possible night out in the world ever. GeorgeXXIII - 24 Sep 2006 21:33
