The Trafalgar looks like a traditional boozer from the inside. But the interior is quite plain, with 2 rooms and limited seating. One room has a pool table. As a military town, there is plenty of military-related items on the walls. Music was on a touch too loud and the ale was Tribute. Not the best.

A cliquey trad boozer, very orientated to the armed forces. it has recently started doing real ale -- the bottled Fuller's Bengal lancer in bottles is good too.

Went to this pub last night. Was really looking forward a couple of real ales before the Aldershot- Hereford match in a pub that was previiusly mentioned for it's great beer. To my horror when I asked if there were any real ales as both the pumps were not on I was offered fosters. Pub itself looked ok. Went to the Garden Gate where I had some superb Moorhouse beer.

First of all is the greeting you get from the staff, its like your part of a family, their family.
then there is he nostalgia of the Traff as its locally known the place is steeped in history with conections to the Parachute Regiment and its attached regiments and battalions, Armed Forces day the Traff is heaving with people from all over the world, and I mean from all over the World.
If your a visiter to Aldershot then this is the place to go to find out all about the history of the armed forces that used to be in "the shot" (Loll the Landlady ) can tell you most of the stories some will make you laugh and some will make you cry but there is a comraderie that the Traff will always be there for you the serving soldier, and those that have gone on before you that are with affection remebered. GREAT BEER, GREAT BANTER, GREAT PUB.

Still a great little boozer, steeped in military tradition and history, you can't beat the Traf. Very friendly patrons and staff, jukebox and pool table.
