| I used to work in this pub years and years ago (about 1999) at the timje the lanlord had the spectacular idea of offering a free 1/2 pint with every meal and dessert ordered. Neeldess to say it wasnt a greatly taken up offer. Mattclary - 11 Jan 2010 15:19 |
| A mate used to work at the council offices opposite and every Tuesday afternoon they'd wait for the shouts and lean out of the window to watch the weekly ruck on the pavement outside Refreshers. | Nearly as big a shithole as Spencers. If you have an IQ in double figures you won�t be very welcome here, if fact if you have an IQ at all you won�t fit in too well. But if you have your dole card staples to your forehead with copious amounts of tattoos featuring Chinese writing that you won�t have a clue what they mean, you are somewhere near to fitting the bill.
