The Leopard was another new Norwich pub for me on this visit to the city. This corner pub has a bit of a sparse feel to it, with a lack of furniture. But, it is bright and colourful and has a good spread of real ales - Colchester Brazilian, Nene Valley Pulping On Your Stereo, Moon Gazer Hawkley Frolic & White Rose Ice Maiden. They also had Snail's Bank Fruit Bat cider. The customers and owner seemed a friendly bunch. In most towns, this would be the best pub. In Norwich, there are a few better ones. But, if you're doing a crawl, I'd definitely recommend it.

The Leopard has recently been taken over and completely renovated. I went for the first time last night. It had only been open for 5 days and I was astonished to find the place almost full. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable. Yes they even let me try a couple of ales before I selected one. The beer was beautiful, obviously they know how to store and present their ales! They've decorated the place like a proper traditional pub, with old pub and brewery signs. After a couple of beers we moved on to the whiskey - I was impressed to find a very healthy selection, some I hadn't heard of before, so obviously I tried one of those - beautiful! There is a quaint little beer garden at the back, though being November I didn't try that! Conclusion? I recommend you check this new pub out, I'll definitely make it a regular!

This is a great little pub with a warm, friendly welcome to all. If I lived a bit nearer I would make this my local.

hi, just a quick review on this beautiful pub, i rate this very high for its quality and prices of real ales , the landlady is such a lovely person and always has the time of day to talk to you, listen to your ideas, and most of all make you feel at home. All we really need now is a few more customers to give it a try and i assure you that you would visit it again and again, the real ale is kept in excellent condition and my personal preference is the ale called scarrybird, the pub has a open fire and a tv showing terestial programmes, there is no juke box or pool table (thank you for that) just good beer and conversation.
