| In a small village with two pubs side by side, the Black Swan is a narrow fronted long building, there are three rooms from front to back, the front two containing the bar. John Smiths Cask, Black Sheep bitter and a beer from Daleside along side a range of kegs from S&N. The cask beer is well kept but a touch cold, I can't speak for the keg. Comfortable but unremarkable decor, old fashioned copper top tables, some Brewer's Tudor beams otherwise a pleasant enough village pub. anonymous - 16 Mar 2009 15:49 |
