| We used to camp here a lot (about 20 years ago) and went again Sep 16 for old times' sake. Good welcome, and very pleasant as always. Surprised to find no-one eating there (on a Sunday lunchtime ?). Decent pints of Palmers Copper and IPA, but the Dorset Gold was off. davercox - 19 Sep 2012 11:10 |

| Very much a local's pub as well off the beaten track. For those brave enough to risk an english summer there's camping in a field behind the pub with basic shower and toilet facilities. Well kept Palmers beers on tap - Copper, Best and Dorset Gold- plus a cider and a small but well cooked menu available. Well worth a visit. HH64 - 16 Jul 2012 13:35 |
| great pub and even better locals, had a lovely time while camping there, they even let us have a proper camp fire!!!, if your going fossil hunting and staying there with your kids, its safe friendly and you will not want to leave!!!, will be going back this year and i hope a few more times as well. 5******* pete1968 - 25 Apr 2012 07:59 |
