| the food is awfull, tasted like it was all re-heated, the cook should be ashamed to send food out that bad, would not give to a dog, beer and food is well overpriced and the toilets are that bad that i would not use them, the staff are rude and ignorant, not welcoming at all, the landlords rottweiller is left to walk round the pub, would not be too bad if it did not smell and lay under your table when trying to eat. avoid like the plague! firebean21 - 27 Oct 2010 13:58 |
| As a regular, I have drunk in the railway for years, and all I can say is how bad the place has got.. No atmosphere, bad beer, overpriced, toilets are still the same as they were 10 years ago. They are constantly running out of products and the landlord just shrugs his shoulders, they dont care about the customers !! The food is a shambles,,(who wants to eat their lunch with the landlords rottweiler under the table.) everybody goes to the cafe or the fish bar down the road. It is such a shame that this is the only pub in this small rural village, the nearest pub is a drive away. Why is this pub still up and running is the question?? avoid at all costs !! | I hadn't visited this pub for 13 years almost becuase of what a dive it used to be, im now a regular on a sunday evening. There is great entertainment with a band who do all kinds of music and you can even get to the stage yourself! The atmosphere is great and the beer is delicious very nice looking pub and the staff were very polite. A very village type welcoming pub 9/10 adamo92 - 27 Dec 2007 22:03 |
