The Woodlands Tavern, Isleworth: A strange pub that fails to convince. There is nothing inherently wrong with this place; the bar area is pleasingly traditional and there’s a nice seating array. The pool table is a nice touch, too – a rare thing nowadays – but the lighting can be a little bright and the choice of music is invariably poor. It can also feel cold of a night. All in all, not a bad boozer, but not a great one either.

I'm not local but I come here quite often. Have got to know the landlord. Top bloke, very sociable. Have been here while they have had a function on and the food/buffet looks great. Bar staff are friendly. Could do with some more male totty behind the bar though - but that's my opinion!
Have experienced the roast dinners. Top notch. Plate always full. Would be nice to see a few desserts on the menu for the kids. Large beer garden, good for kids. Toilets are clean enough. Locals seem friendly enough too. Shame I live far away as I would come here a lot.

Don't tend to take any interest in food in pubs, but Sunday roasts are the exception. After a hard days graft that took longer than expected, was grateful to find the Woodlands still doing a roast at 1700. Possibly the finest roast I've ever had in a pub, with a keen chef/landlord keen to ensure we were happy as he too appreciated a good roast. Ale not too bad and although front of pub a little too noisy, the back section is fine. Done the job

Just made my rating a zero for showing chelscum tv.
How revolting.

I was in here one afternoon last week and found it to be pleasant enough. It has a pool table, dart board and at least 3 screens, which were showing Chelsea TV during my visit. I found the manager to be polite enough and the pub itself to be clean and spacious.

Pride and GK IPA were available alongside a few lagers and John Smiths Extra Smooth. I can imagine the small smoking section at the rear getting very busy late at night when smoking is not permitted outside the front of the pub.

This is a reasonable pub that probably comes alive when there is some sport on.
