Recommended as a must visit pub. Easy to find at night, as there is a thin light in the pavement that stretches for yards - right to the front door.

Irish music on and a large amount of tourists soaking up a traditional Irish pub experience. Myself, included.

Stuck to Guinness. As did everyone else.

Great vibrant atmosphere and character(s). Food (Irish Stew) and ale sensibly priced. Guinness smooth and rich and Smithwick's ales also on tap - very good.

It might seem a bit rough and ready, but at least there's a friendly welcome and they have small bottles of eminently quaffable wine for the ladies. ;o)

Would have returned for the advertised and locally recommended evening live music, but had too much else to try in our short time in Belfast. Maybe next time.

Jumped in a cab with my brother from Robinsons and asked the driver to take us somewhere good. Ended up here, but only found out its name two days later after wondering around on final day.

Like Nokegthanks says it is a bit rough around the edges but these are usually the best ones. Was that bladdered by now, that when leaving I couldn't remember the name of my hotel when getting a cab back.

Lovely old fashioned boozer, Belfast has a fair few but this is the real deal. Somewhat rustic and a bit shabby, this only adds to the charm.

Best pint of Guinness I have had so far in Belfast, can't be bad!
