| Fairly well kept community pub in a quiet, pleasant suburban area. A few TV screens showing sport, but not too intrusive. Smartly decorated and comfortable front room. Landlord not especially welcoming to strangers. Being a Marston's pub, beer offerings weren't amazing, but the unusually good Banks’s Sunbeam was on and very enjoyable. Lovely old real fireplace half way down, pool table to rear. | Long narrow pub with 2 small lounges either side of the entrance. In the back there's a pool table, fruit machine and quiz machine with cricket photo's around the walls. Three handpumps with Marston's Pedigree and Burton bitter plus Jennings Cumberland. I had a pint of the Pedigree as the range wasn't very interesting, it was a decent pint.
