| Julie and John were the perfect hosts, very accommodating. They had only been in the pub for 8 weeks. We stayed overnight on our way to Glastonbury festival. The food was not good for the price, but beer was good. The rooms were very basic, beds quite uncomfortable but very clean. Very old fashioned. | Has recently changed hands and new managers are doing a good job of trying to pull this pub into the 21st century . Staff are friendly and welcoming. Quiz nights and kareoke plus more entertainment planned. New menu which I haven't yet tried. pal2 - 1 Jun 2009 11:56 |
