| Pub remains unchanged since last visit. Very friendly and enjoyable evening on 27/03/2008. Sat at the bar and supped a few beers whilst chatting to locals in a mixture of Dutch and English. | Good range of beers in an excellent location for watching the world go by. Food is particularly good here as well. Seating ranges from nice long padded benches along the wall, to a small conservatory with wicker chairs and table to al fresco tables. Kriek Max was excellent and palate cleansing. | One of the less heralded beer bars in the Dam but always friendly and comfortable. Good food, excellent range of Belgian beer and the more common Dutch varieties. | Beers are wide ranging, from some 4.5% to 10% super dark brews, there is something for all. Just around the corner from the other shopping area, (Other than the area around Dam Sq.)
