| Doom Bar, Butty Bach, Mad Goose and Wickwar BOB were on sale today. I had a pint of BOB which was OK but I noticed that the beer was pulled through halfway through my pint so I guess I had just missed out on a fresh barrel. | It's a cosy, friendly place, with a slightly lived-in feel in this very picturesque little Cotswold town. Given the setting, the pub perhaps lacks its own historic features rather, some might say. | The pub is ok. More a restaurant with a bar, but the public bar is reasonably pleasant. The beer was a bit below par when I sampled it, but a pretty good, if slightly knocked through and adulterated pub experience. JoWard25 - 18 Aug 2013 16:29 |
