Sadly this pub is not only closed, but walked past yesterday and it had been demolished, so no hope of a reopening.

Another brewery closure after making more money from selling the lease for development rather than running a pub..scandalous especially from a small brewer.

Are they crazy? This was the best pub in Victoria! How could they shut this down?!?!

What can we do to change this? I see that the pub is boarded up, but there is no work or anything going on. Is it for sale?

I went there last Friday for a quick beer after lunchtime and was gutted to find this place closed and boarded up.

I mean no-one would shed a tear in the rubbish Talbot next door shut, but this is truly awful. It can't have been unprofitable, as it was always packed. I guess it wasn't profitable 'enough'. An offer they couldn't refuse, etc etc.

Tragic is the only word.
