I visited this pub for the first time yesterday and was very impressed. Good selection of drinks at cheap (for London) prices. Friendly staff. Service was good, and never had to wait long to be served.

The jukebox is online so always has the latest music along with a great back catalogue.

The food was of great quality - most people were ordering food at lunchtime. Not the most exciting menu but all our meals were faultless and excellent value.

I will definitely be coming back although it's a bit out of my way.

A flying visit whilst looking for jack the ripper locations. I know how to live. Typical london boozer. All very pleasant.

As previously stated this pub is mainly frequented by doctors & builders from the Royal London Hospital.

Only used it at lunchtimes and there's also people in, mostly a mix between people eating or just drinking.

Always found the bar staff to be quick and efficient but the prices on the beer are a little high.

Decent pint of London Pride on the occasions i've been in.

Not the worst pub in the area but with a bit more it could be the best.

This pub is mainly frequented by doctors and staff from the Royal London, a smattering of students, and I've even seen a hen party. It gets busy at times but the bar staff are generally quick and efficient (and friendly). Drinks are okay, the occasional flat lager aside. However the place could do with a serious tidy up or even a make over. Its general shabbiness is real put off. They do good trade so why not? A shame because Whitechapel is lacking in decent pubs.

I also work near by and drink in the good samaritans and i find the beer and ales always good. The bar staff and managers helpful.
