| Popped in for a quick one on a dark, winter's night; what a welcome! Fantastic, chatty people. No real ale, which would normally mean I walked straight out, but in its stead was proper Thatcher's cider, nicely kept. Well worth a visit. mhanley - 29 Mar 2009 13:33 |
| After nearly two decades living in Frome, I finally plucked up the courage to try out this pub - suffice to say that it had a bit of a reputation. The verdict: Friendly staff, no real ale but excellent real cider, spacious layout with lounge and public bars. A good local boozer with no pretentions.
