6 December cold in the room and draught from old style single glazed window, asked to move told no other table available but several tables stayed empty all night. Not asked how we would like Gourmet? burgers cooked, one came very rare mine was done to death and tough as an old boots, I believe it had been reheated, my wife's sea bass was rather small but nice, the few vegetables were hidden under it, not good value. Staff treated us with polite indifference. We did not stay for puddings. Made motorway services look good in comparison. Never again.

We recently met some friends here for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised by bright and modern feel of the place. The food and service were both as good as expected, given that the place has a definite restaurant bias. What was a surprise was that the Harveys was really well kept. I would definitely go again.

I really enjoyed my evening at the Black Horse. The food was delicious. The service was great. The live music playing in the back ground was a really nice touch. I will be going back agian real soon. Next time I'm going to try the Hot Rocks. The whole experiance was one to remember. Thank you to the staff for making it such an enjoyable night!

this used to be a decent boozer where you could talk to everyone, get a good game of pool and have a bite to eat. what happened it looks like a happyeater crossed with a harvester what a shame and a waste of a bowling lane.
