I do not normally write reviews but am always happy to read them, so I decided this time to give The Greyhound a review I truly believe it deserves.

I visited this pub a few days ago with friends and after reading the reviews on the Beer In The Evening website I am please to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice this pub was. The décor is lovely (it is so nice now that smoking is no longer permitted in pubs).

I was very impressed with the toilets - so many pub toilets are disgusting places, but these are bright, clean and very tastefully decorated which was a surprise!!

We all ate during our visit and thoroughly enjoyed our food, the duck with raspberry sauce was delicious and cooked to perfection - would definitely order that again.

The staff were friendly and the atmosphere in the pub was good.

I notice from their 'Whats On' leaflet that this pub obviously makes a lot of effort to provide entertainment and involve the customers.
They do quiz nights, music quiz nights, poker, spice and Physic nights to name a few!
I will definitely be going back when they next run their Cribbage tournament.

Overall a lovely night out with good food, good drink and lovely company.

Visited this Tuesday with 3 friends it was not busy there. I had mixed grill with rare steak. All meats were heavily charred indicating grill needed cleaning. Half way through my meal I started on the chicken fillet, it tasted gamey and when I smelt it it was off, the waitress agreed it smelt bad. It was quickly removed to the kitchen. I was offered a complimentary sweet and chose vanilla ice cream. When we got the bill I was shocked to see we had been charged full price for the mixed grill containing the rotting meat. The pub had football blaring out and we had to seek out staff when we wanted anything.
Not the sort of place for families, anyone who wants to have a conversation or anyone wanting good food with attentive waiting staff.

Just been there & spent another lovely evening, missed the chance to try again some of their excellent cooking - shame the food stops at 6 on a Sunday but the rest of the week it's available until 9 - well worth a try.
Have a lot of time for this pub as it is extremely well managed by the management & their team. We live within walking distance of all the pubs within Bromley but prefer to go the distance for this place. Has the most friendly atmosphere we've experienced in Bromley - we have lived here for over 30 years & the newer team over recent years have brought a great reinvention of the traditional pub & eater-ie.

Why are all the reviews so outdated ? A new landlord has been at The greyhound for two years now and in that time he has transformed it into a vibrant, friendly community pub.Never any trouble the pub nowP holds music, quiz and poker nights The menu has been upgraded without losing it's traditional pub feel and the pub is constantly busy.possibly the best pub in the area.
