Went in here recently to reminisce of my time spent here in my early twenties. Still a good pub, with a good selection of beers - some of which were good, some of which were not so. Enjoyed it, I have to say. littledrummerboy - 11 Dec 2012 17:41
Went in early on Saturday lunchtime so it was quiet, but still received a friendly welcome and the beer was top-notch. It's a bit shabby, but I would imagine that when it's busier this place has a good atmosphere. djw - 17 Aug 2012 13:21
An olde world pub that isn't your quaint tourist trap but more of a real pub. Good selection of ale I had the chocolate and chilli stout which was unusual but drinkable. One of the better pubs in downtown Nottingham. Snarling_Mallard - 9 Jul 2012 20:17
Visited on 5 May when the mighty U’s lost 4-1 to County. Didn’t really like this pub, very interesting interior and one of the customers looked like a lost extra from the Lord of the Rings, definitely wouldn’t visit it in the evening when busy and with rock music, but that’s just my taste. The beer was perfectly good though and would recommend it. 7/10 Monkdawallydahonk - 11 May 2012 13:03
Biker/Rocker style pub with a very good ale and cider range. Friendly barmaid on our visits and so were the other customers. ng10 - 12 Aug 2011 09:31
