Nice pub, good selection of ale and good staff. On a busy Saturday night I never waited more than a couple of minutes for service.

This small traditional pub has been under new management for a couple of years now and it has been tidied up with new carpets and a lick of paint which has improved it a lot.
The garden is small but it's really sweet with picnic tables and hanging baskets and is a bit of a sun trap! They have had a couple of BBQ's out there which offered great value, good food with a professional chef.
It's quite quiet most of the time but they do have events every now and again such as karaoke and they held a racing night not so long ago and there is a pool table and sky sports - they showed the Haye fight at the weekend.
The Manager is a really nice guy and the locals are friendly. All in all, not a bad little boozer.

Hopefully with the new Managers we will see it become the friendly pub it used to be without all the back stabbing. The Saturdays when they have had entertainment have been like going back in time to the good old days.

Lets just see how this once lovely little pub fares now. Give it a chance once again. Things have changed - lets hope it hangs in there

Excellent pub, friendly staff and customers although a certain member of the barstaff needs to learn to keep her mouth shut and behave a LOT more lady like.
Friday nites are excellent and Saturday nites just as good, depending what entertainment they have on.
All in all a good alround pub.
