This pub in now called "The Wine Tun" and is a Davy's Wine Bar.

Not been for a while but always pleasant enough for a lunch-time.

AXA IM staff get a 10% discount, or did in the past, can't hurt to try just show ID card when you order!

no good reason for anyone in their right mind - unlesss you're getting free beer (which is really poor) - mmm - well was going to say - if you know people in a leaving function - then it's fine. otherwise. poor beer choice. poor service. nothing positive. a

Horrendous place. Pulling teeth is slightly less painful than waiting for the slow service (>20mins)at the bar. The bar staff looked suicidal. Lacks charm and there are plenty of more interesting bars nearby. The Heeltap is closing down and re-opening as The Wine Tun soon. Lets hope this brings new decor and more importantly competent, new staff that can smile.

Ghastly. Overpriced (16 for 3 pints and a glass of red!). Not much atmosphere. It seems to exist purely to fleece tourists that visit St Pauls. There are much better pubs within 5 minutes walk of there.

The food here is awful, overcooked and the manager looks miserable . Quite nice wines but overpriced.
