Now run by a retarded couple from the Black Country AKA Birmingham. Towing the Greene King company line is obviously one of their few achievements in life, a life which Greene King has rewarded them handsomely for their dedication.
They operate a peculiar business model which involves not tying up the company's money in holding stock. As a consequence food stops most nights at 8.00 pm as there's nothing left to sell.
Can't see them lasting much beyond Xmas with this strategy to be honest.

This is a great pub, if you like to start early you can get a beer and cooked breakfast for about £3.50, nice little garden area and the friendliest staff in Stratford, Landlady (or I assume she was) happily let us sample a couple of the beers before we bought one. We go to Stratford every July and do every pub, we spent more time in this one than any other (July 14) and I suspect will do so again in July 15. Is this the best pub in town? Possibly

Pleasant pub slightly away from the town centre, low beamed bar and outside drinking/eating area at the back. Good pint of Purity Gold.
