I am totally in agreement with last comment. We love it here and its always busy so surely that says it all!!! Staff greet you with a smile and always polite, prices reasonable for area, lovely garden and food good. Some people are just sad and moaney and have nothing better to do.!!!!

I live with my wife in Rustington and love an excuse to enjoy a casual drink and a bite of lunch at the Oystercatcher when ever we are Bognor Regis / Climping way. I just cannot understand some of the snotty things that have been said about this pub. In my opinion the food is good, the service friendly and efficient and the prices are what you would expext to pay anywhere else. So if you have not yet stopped at the Oystercatcher, do it the next time you are passing.

Nice ambience, cottage style cleverly recreated in what's a relatively new building. Food varies. Last night we experienced an anaemic seafood mixed grill and a similarly presented sole fillets dish. Both devoid of any garnish or sauces. Food presentation leaves a lot to be desired. Stick to the basics like gammon and chicken and you normally can't go wrong. Beer okay, good selection of ales and lagers. Staff are dressed appropriately. No scruffy Herberts working here.

Food poor and not particularly cheap. I'm guessing the staff are quite transient as they were on the whole sullen. Beer not great.

This place was pretty good when it first opened a few years ago although after my recent visit I won't be heading back.

Went here bank holiday monday, and we were really dissapointed. As weather was really nice, we decided to sit out side. The tables had not been wiped, so sticky. A s a result wasps were rife. Food was not all that, and my dauchters tomatoe pasta had obviously been microwaved! Stuck to side of bowl. Burgers were like eating rocks and my husband and father in law did complain, and got 'oh' back!!!Really dissapointed!!!!! Garden needs a good tidy too, and if you did still feel hungry you could always pick one of the many 3 day old dry peas off the deck to eat... probably left for the rats!!!
