| This pub has new owners and a great new restaurant serving excellent food. Good choice on the menu, good portion size, friendly, welcoming staff. This is a must try pub with great beer and a very fine wine list too! They were fully booked last Saturday when we visited but the friendly landlady managed to squeeze us in, nothing seemed too much trouble for them even when they were so busy. | We received a really warm welcome here. Staff very friendly and helpful, and beer- Adnams Broadside- pretty good. However the food was a bit of a let-down and didn't justify the price tag; better quality and a wider choice would be a good idea. edchambers - 14 Apr 2007 21:57 |
