I was in Brum on my own and found this place. Sat by the open doors watching the PGA golf and being served by a lovely lady. This was a quiet Thursday evening, so I can't comment on what it's like at the weekend.

Unless you like football or rugby forget it. The website promises a vast array of sports from around the world...in reality if theres no football on, you get sky sports news and bad dance music. Don't expect anything on a friday/saturday night as it becomes a club and forgets its sporting roots. Good (though expensive) pool room downstairs and nice memoribilia

Who? Me?
When I was last in, half their screens were showing the premiership footie in 16:9, and the other half showing the six nation rugby in stretchyvision. I had no idea if it was because they were using BBC1 analogue or what, but I left a message with the manager, anyway.

The H-File tour came to Birmingham this past Saturday night (2 Dec) and we came here for a few drinks. No hassle from the bouncers, but we were charged entry (5 I think). There is a plethora of screens in this place and they were showing the excellent Sky Sports News at the time.

The dcor is reminiscent of a darker Walkabout bar, but as mentioned in Mr Monkfish's review, there is genuine interesting sporting memorabilia on show. We were also served promptly at the bar. A couple of hen parties helped to add to the lively atmosphere.

This place is encouraging for the H-File search and I bet the eponymous widescreen reviewer on this site would have a field day in here!! Worth a look if in the area.
