Used to be a good atmosphere, most people don't go there now they go to the Ship. The food isn't what it used to be either.

The Grosvenor Arms Handbridge is one of the best pubs in Chester, I recommend anyone to visit! Even better when im working behind the bar! :)

And as for some people, not mentioning any names (cheersforthebeers) need to get a grip, if you have a problem with the pub then why not be a big man and tell the staff and loyal customers for yourself what you think. That is all.

p.s. are you by any chance barred and support Man United? Our pub welcomes all kinds of supporters, especially those of Man United - most of our regulars support that team actually.

I'll say again, COME TO THE GROSVENOR ARMS IF YOU WANT A PROPER PINT IN A PROPER PUB!

bye,

thankyou

i compleatly agree with BoomShakaLaka..

have just recently moved to chester only 3 weeks ago...
and feel out of place as you do in a new place..

but the ''grosvenor arms'' and the people init have made me feel really welcome..

it has a fantastic enviroment and from the very first time i steped foot in there i felt welcome

i recived a Gorgeous and welcoming smile from the staff and an even bigger smile from the landlady..

the food served in the grosvenor arms is of a high quality.. which i unfortunately carn't say for most of the pubs i've been to in chester!!!!

and i could sit here and type all day about the entertainment the grosvenor has to offer.. which is a lot..

it is a truly amazing pub which must be visited....

hmmmm well 'on the contrary' to the other idiots that have commented on the grosvenor arms

this pub is absolutly fantasic ..

with a fantastic landlady ' awsom staff ' especially nina :-) and the other girls arnt that bad either there very very hot and very polite ;-)

and the people that enjoy a beverage in there which i might add is a good pint.. are probably the most 'genuine' 'open' and 'kind' people i've had the pleasure to meet.

this pub also holds events including 'a raffel a pub quiz nite' and the Occasional auction of the most exotic things to raise money for various charity's including 'Hospice Of The Good Shepherd'

the grosvenor arms the most clean 'tidy' and well run pubs in chester. its has the most comfortable 'warm' and welcoming inviroment's
everthing that you would come to expect from a pub..
