The Pub has sadly now closed - sometime during the middle of 2013.

Seems to have changed hands again - it is currently displaying the old legend - "under new management"! The staff are all wearing shirts saying "Wishing Well Inns", so presumably that is a chain tha has bought it. Can't say I have ever heard of them.
Still looks rather tired, the only cask ale available was "Old Speckled Hen" which was served much warmer than it should have been and was a little lifeless. The pub was fairly quiet and was all reasonably pleasant until someone turned the volume of the music up to a ridiculous level - good job I was on my own as conversation would have been impossible!! There are signs everywhere saying "We have a zero tollerance (sic) towards drugs. Anybody found will be prosecuted" - so dont be " found" in the Two Brewers!!

Not been the same since dear old Bert left years ago, he was the pub!

Have visited this pub many times over the years.

Very little has changed - the pub has always been dark and full of people who would be turned away from other pubs; heavily intoxicated to the point of not being able to stand, shouting loudly and swearing.

It also has a young, yobbish element who occupy the pool table area and shout and swear their heads off. Being a smallish pub, the noise carries into every part of it and is extremely offputting.

The bar staff are generally ok, no real problems there and the beer is all very standard. The decor is very, very tired and takes a great deal away from any prospective atmosphere.

Overall, a poor, tired pub which, without a minor miracle, has very little future. It needs a complete overhaul, more stringent door policy and drastic change of image before I, or anyone I know would ever consider drinking there. Avoid.
