Expensive but actually the beer is good so you end up not minding too much.

Nothing not to like.

After a visit to the BrewDog pub 5-10 minutes walk away, we continued to this Draft House pub. This is the third pub from this chain that I have visited and they follow a similar formula. 3 ales were on - Belleville Tie Die Rye, Sambrooks Four Chimneys Chocolate Stout & Dark Star Revelation. They also have a good craft beer selection and bottled beers too. Although the craft beers can be fairly pricy. There's a discount for CAMRA members. Another place with a predominantly young (but friendly) crowd. I may have been here when it was the Pitcher & Piano. The Draft House chain is a big improvement on Pitcher & Piano.

With its Daily Draft both fresh and good value, the sort of innovative place that I didn't realise this area was up for - you'd associate it with East Dulwich or Moseley or somewhere like that. Battersea is improving no end. Beware sitting on or at beer barrels outside as some are not that stable. Good apart from that.

Well the poor old P'nP on Northcote Road is closing down.
The thing is that this has absolutely zero to do with the economy and everything to do with the management at the place.

Over the years the place has become a bit run down and the crowd has certainly changed.

I gave it another shot a few weeks ago and the same group of youths were hanging around on their bikes at the front. It is because one of the group is older and is enjoying a beer whilst the rest of them chat away from the street. And the manager seems to have a rapport with them so while he chats away the business in falling through the floor.

Furnishings old - no serious investment on the inside for ages. The glass on the outside wall has made the small drinking place look more like a jail cell.

No sir - this time you cant blame the economy.
Congrats - it is almost impossible to have a pub on this street and run it into the ground.
