Track and Trace precautions in place on a recent visit. I ordered as I walked in the pub and paid (via card) then sat in the rear beer garden where a pleasant barmaid brought my pint to me. There seemed to be four ales on tap. A pleasant experience.

Much improved on the ale front - the Peerless Red IPA being the best of the four ales on. The pub is a mix of sandstone columns and beams and is a few minutes away from West Kirby station.

Went in here at 9pm last Saturday night. Less than half full but a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Four ales available - Courage Directors, Black Sheep Bitter, Brimstage Scarecrow and Clarkes Traditional. Tried the Scarecrow and it was a nice well kept pint.

Traditional pub with a warm atmosphere and a selection of 4 ales - Courage Directors, Black Sheep Best, Fullers ESB & Moorhouses Black Cat. The landlord and locals appeared fairly friendly. A proper pub. But sadly not as busy as the nearby Wetherspoons.

Called in on Friday before Bank Holiday. I have to say the Peerless Red Rocks was superb, only problem it ran out. What a brill pub with an excellent beer garden, certainly the best in West Kirby.
