Good beer, great selection of single malts, superb pizzas and the atmosphere was good too. Patio out back, def worth a visit.

A pub that has become very much the poorer since Mr Brices' ownership. Curtness/rudeness are his stock in trade. If you fancy an evening of feeling that you have invaded someones sitting room, want overpriced beer and get the feeling the yokels will be glad when you leave, then the KGV is for you. This is a real shame, it used to be a lovely pub.

A pleasant backstreet pub in Brompton Village. My two pints of Adnams was excellent and although I didn't eat, the plates of food other customers had looked ample. A malt whisky club is based here.

Good pub, bit too cosy as its small inside with the bar stools etc but beer was excellent and pizza was superb! Didn't expect it to be so good but needed stodge after a few refreshments... Good selection of whiskies and rums from what I remember aswell!

Hidden away in a secluded spot but ideal for the Chatham Dockyards, the KGV is a perfect little pub. Well kept beers, often from the nearby Nelson brewery, and a friendly welcome. Very clean and tidy with good pub food but mainly it's the sense of a pub trying to be part of a community that shines through.
