Not realy a pub, but a restuarant. The wine list is good, but the staff did not seem to know much about the wines listed, or their availability. I was tod that one was not there, but later I saw it on the rack in the glass fronted 'cellar' area!
The food was well presented and cooked to a high standard. Their fresh fish is good to eat, and apart from the wine, service was excellent.

Went for girlie lunch and 2 of us had fish pie with uncooked puff pastry lids and mostly egg in the pie..where was the fish? The soup was ok. Overall is a place where in nice surroundings can 'look good' but eat food that does not live up to the expectations at all. Will not return

Opened at the beginning of May as an add on to their restaurant at the back. They completely gutted out the bar area and installed cool-pub things that looked worn and as if they had been there for years :) Visited by thirty something Henley types, very small bar sitting area, but relaxed atmosphere. Tables outside when warm. A pub to enjoy chilled wine in the shade on the newly finished market place area.
