user reviews of Santa Fe, Brighton

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

A personal favourite and visit when I'm in the mood for a treat. The food is fantastic from the grill, the bar menu is standard bar grub. My most favourite things about this place are the staff and the cocktails. I like my cocktails and you will get some of the best available in Brighton from Santa Fe. The bar staff really know their stuff too. If you're looking for something not on the cocktail menu, just ask. If you like the more lavish spirits, they will recommend and serve up in style.

We wandered in here while looking for somewere cool to grab a drink after the London to Brighton bike ride.
Just off the seafront, Santa Fe offered loads of places to sit when most places were crammed to the rafters - but I'm not sure why as this turned out to be quite a nice place.
The whole wall above the bar was devoted to displaying an enormous selection of spirits so it came as no suprise that there was a cocktail menu on every table. Wines seem to be very well represented too so maybe the lack of patronige was down to the fact that there wasn't a single beer available on draft! Lager came in bottle and I supopose for some this just isn't quite the same. Still Peroni shandies turned out to be quite nice!
Food was available in the "Grill" upstairs but we didn't have time to sample it.
Maybe next time....
