March 2010 and the Greyhound looks like it is being refurbished. Builders stuff outside and signs of activity inside

August 7th 2009 and judging by the very dead hanging baskets, this pub has been closed for some time. Walked past it every night this week and there was no sign of life.

I went to the Arena before Christmas to see The Kings Of Leon (Awesome Gig) and dropped into the Greyhound for a quick one beforehand. Having been here a couple of years ago I was prepared for the usual grade of Wembley pub. Bit shocked to discover it was actually nice this time. It's still a bit rough round the edges, but it's been painted and cleaned recently at least. We ended up staying for a bite to eat and was doubly shocked to find none microwaved pub food.

Only one ale on, lame, but at least it was in good order. Deuchars at the time. My girl had a good glass of Merlot.

Will be coming back next time I do the Arena. Hope it continues getting better.

Have been in recently & was pleasantly suprised. New Bar Manager, new start i guess, & not before time too. Bar manager is great guy, staff much improved as with service too. Looks like this one knows what he's doing at long last. Watch this space!!
