| This pub has obviously gone seriously downhill since the last review in 2006. It's shabby on the outside and the inside isn't much better. There is no cask ale at this pub any longer, in fact last night they didn't even have any keg ale. The only option available was lager, so I left. This area of Wolverhampton is full of bad pubs, this isn't even one of the worst, but it is still crap. It won't be around much longer on last nights showing anyway and it won't be any kind of loss. | The only real ale in this pub is the Banks's handpulled cask MILD quite reasonable at �1.90 a pint. The bitters are kegs on fancy pulls alongside the lagers. This and the Fox Hotel round the corner are the best pubs this end of town for the MILD drinker. Service is good and the round tables in the bar confirm this is a proper pub.
