| Out of the way country pub with friendly and pleasant bar girl. Four hand pumps, two were off, so only Tribute and Doom Bar (yawn) for choice. Main meals are very expensive. | Re-opened June 11, very friendly, decent real ale taken in the garden, and served food well after the 2pm advertised last order. Bit out of the way but worth a visit for lunch. filmguru - 17 Oct 2011 17:18 |
| Re-opened as a Resturant Bar by the nearby Barclay House in Looe. Still perfectly usable as a pub though with Doom, Tribute and Proper Job on when we visited. The beer was good and served in the right glasses. It did have a bit of a restauranty feel about it and the food was indeed very good.
