|It's a great place, the owner is northern, Newcastle I think but very friendly none the less. The beer is very crisp, very clean and tasty (they must clean the lines regularly I'd guess). The atmosphere is always pleasant but could maybe do with a good DJ at the weekends to spruce things up a little, otherwise it's great!!!|
I haven't tried the food yet but the menu looks good and fairly priced so one day I will get round to it.

|What can I say? This place is fantastic, I've been drinking in the Corner House since it first opened up, the atmosphere is great, the people that now drink in there are great. The staff are polite, well dressed and remarkably helpful! I've noticed a new menu recently that me and my partner decided to try, everything is home cooked and the sunday lunch is amazing including the yorkshire puddings which is a rarity! Go have a meal, a few drinks and wait for the party to start, you won't be disapointed!! Enjoy!!|
