| We must have been very lucky the day we visited this pub. We sat outside on a hot summers day by the river. All our drinks were fine and our food was great. | Great expectations - extremely disappointed. Had to send my jacket potato back as it was yellow and tasted awful, must have been re-heated several times! An apology was given and I re-ordered, a sandwich this time. Sandwich was great but there was obviously a difference in price - had to queue to get a refund. No complimentary pudding or drink was offered for the inconvenience of having to complain, and wait for my re-order. In the meantime my husband was eating his sirloin steak, he was not impressed. He said it was tasteless and seemed to have been cooked and reheated. We would not go to this pub again, not good value for money and food over rated. An enormous disappointment for a birthday lunch. | Had a great time on Exmoor last weekend despite the blizzard conditions. Myself and my husband popped into The Exmoor White Horse Inn for a bite to eat and a couple of pints. We had an excellent meal of the local venison pie which was the best I have ever tasted followed by a couple of pints of Two Stroke, supurb!
