Was my local for a few years. Good drop of Tetley's cask available and reasonable price too.

Decent mix of students and locals. Very good pub

This is an OK pub - the beer is cheap and they have Tetley's cask in good nick. Bit full of students on a Saturday night but will definitely go back.

My local last year, and like an old friend to me.

The Three Horseshoes is brilliant for lazy afternoons drinking. There is a good mix of students and locals, with enough old people and smoke to give that proper pub atmosphere that you just don't quite get as you venture further into Headingley and the student-count gets too high.

I would mention how cheap the drinks are at this point, but as they have Pedigree and Tetley's on handpull as well as a decent (as in more than 2) selection of lagers, and the pub is amazing, I won't bother, as those points alone should be enough to make you visit. Go now.

The second pub in the infamous 'Otley Run', and is as different as you can get from the first (Woodies). Converted from the traditional to the modern, it actually wears the change well, as opposed to many others. Look round the back if you fancy a quiet corner, or grab a table in the bar windows.

Still holds a nice handpull selection (last time I was in there), including the ever-wonderful Black Sheep.

Beware Weetwood Lane on your left as you leave. Many Otley Runs have nearly ended prematurely by not watching for traffic.
