Modified my walk from Leamington to Warwick to take in this pub - which has sneaked into the Top 10 pubs in Warwickshire on this site.

11:43 and its open. Not only that, its been open since 10:30am and its packed.

4 real ales on - I went for Tribute and it was in great nick. Noticed Doom Bar and Purity Mad Goose also on.

Really nice pub, lots of atmosphere. Good beer and food, at reasonable prices. Looks like a pleasant beer garden but not the best weather to sample. Staff both friendly and helpful.

The Millwright has now reopened as of Friday 21st Nov under new management. The pub has been thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom and is looking great. Still my favourite pub in Warwick.

Broadside, Spitfire and Blacksheep on tap with IPA and guest ales on the horizon. I can vouch for the quality of the 1st 2.

I made the trip here only to find it closed. On asking around was told the Landlady was not making any money so left! Will check again later.

Attractive pub short walk from Warwick Castle. Cosy interior with several smaller rooms in traditional style with several beers on hand pull and the usual lagers. We had Adnams Broadside and it was in good condition. The food menu was excellent and what we had was good, and reasonable price. Beer was a bit pricey, but not surprising being a "tourist" town. Recommended for those visiting Warwick and needing a pint in pleasant atmosphere and surroundings and wanting something to eat!
